　　Calcineurin is a Ca2+-calmodulin-dependent serine/threonine protein phosphatase.Its biological functions have been extensively studied across phyla.Here we report on the novel function of calcineurin in lipid metabolism and the underlying mechanisms in the nematode Caenorhabditis elegans.
