One of the new areas developed by the single-site catalysts is living polymerization of olefins, in which neither chain transfer nor deactivation occurs.Living polymerization is not only useful for the synthesis of block copolymers with predictable molecular weights and narrow molecular weight distributions but also applicable to investigate the nature of active centers due to its simple kinetics.
