Objective: In this study,we studied whether human odontoblasts(HODs)express transient receptor potential vanilloid 1(TRPV1)and transient receptor potential vanilloid 3(TRPV3)ion channel in pulp slice as well as the distribution of these two TRP ion channels in the human dental pulp tissue stained by immunohistochemistry(IHC).Currently,the sensation mechanism of human pulp tissue is still unclear.Our studies could contribute to enrich the types of HODs transient receptor potential(TRP)ion channels in HODs and provided study evidences of the mechanism of sensory transmission in human dental pulp.
