The contact resistance of metal electrodes to silicon solar cells has a great influence on the solar cell efficiency.This paper studies the potential usage of electron-beam evaporation to deposit the electrodes of the solar cells, in particular the deposition of other metals, less precious than silver.The paper focuses on the measurement of the specific contact resistance of the Aluminium electrode to the N-type semiconductor.
