High Temperature Concentrated Solar Energy (HTCSE) may be applied in chemical, and chemical-metallurgical processes at different temperatures.Main advantages are: 1.-No CO2 production, 2.No fossil fuel consumption.Many plants work only 8 h/day.It this working time coincides with the solar time HTCSE can be used in parallel with actual plant designs saving energy on sunny days.Another option is a full Solar installation including storage.Applications performed at quite different temperatures are presented to illustrate the wide paramount application of HTSCE.Direct thermal application of HTCSE is more profitable that using the intermediate via of electricity production because there are many steps from the HTCSE to the final thermal application but we can apply directly thermal energy in processes using suitable concentrating equipments.There are all kind of concentrated equipments taking in consideration the power density or the total power.We must identify what is the more suitable to the kind a needs we have in our plant.In the case of small size equipments are also useful for materials and chemical teaching, processing and research.
