Myogenesis is a very complicated but precisely regulated developmental process whose misregulation can cause many neuronal,heart and muscular dysfunction diseases.Broiler chicken (chicken for meat production) and layer chicken (chicken for egg production) are great models for myogenesis study due to their genetic closeness and divergent muscle growth rates.
