In this paper, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) was adopted as a nondestructive testing method for measuring the electrical resistance and evaluating the development of compressive strength of cement paste. Then, results of the compressive strength were obtained to evaluate the applicability and the reliability of the EIS model.Correlation between electrical resistivity and compressive strength has been established, a linear relationship can be obtained as fc=k√RX-Rc +b.It can be concluded that the electrical resistivity curves dynamically reflect strength development in cement paste and it is possible to predict compressive strength quantitatively to some extent.
