Retinal ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury is associated with many ocular diseases.Sulforaphane (SF) has cytoprotective effects against oxidative stress.This study was undertaken to determine whether SF has protective effect on retina neuronal cells subjected to I/R injury.Rats were injected intraperitoneally with either vehicle or SF (12.5 mg/kg) once a day for 1 week.
