Background Inflammatory pseudotumor is a fairly common orbital disease which ranks 3rd among all the orbital disorders only after thyroid associated ophthalmopathy and lymphoproliferative lesions.However its epiology is still unknown,there are several hypotheses of etiologies as follows,such as immune system disorder,infection,trauma and so on.Moreover,it is more likely to be thought as an autoimmune disease.
