  As a basic problem of wireless sensor network,coverage control reflects the perception of the network fundamentally.Opposed to the uniform sensing model previously,this paper considers a number of sensors with adjustable sensing radius that are randomly deployed to monitor a target area.A new coverage control scheme based on particle swarm optimization algorithm is proposed.By choosing the correspond radius of the working nodes periodically,can enable the target area be continuously covered with a long time.Furthermore,the average energy consumption of the nodes is also minimum,consequently extends the networks lifetime.
