Introduction : Although coronary CT angiography (CTA) has become accepted as a powerful noninvasive diagnostic tool for the evaluation of coronary artery disease in selected patients, insufficient temporal resolution of current generation CT scanners may allow for motion artifacts, which may result in the inevitable limitation of coronary artery evaluation. This study was performed to assess a novel vendor-specific motion-correction (MC) algorithm for its effect on improvement of image quality and interpretability in patients undergoing daily routine coronary CT angiography (CTA) with heart rate control.
