In this work,we report a facile method to synthesize NiCo2O4 nanosheets@N-doped porous carbon spheres(N-PCs)by using gelatin as carbon/nitrogen-resources simultaneously[1].The electrochemical performance of the NiCo2O4 nanosheets@N-PCs composite electrode indicate that this novel hybrid nanostructure is potentially capable of delivering excellent reversible capacity when used as an anode material in lithium-ion batteries(LIBs),due to the outstanding nanostructures and the synergistic efforts of the NiCo2O4 nanosheets and N-doped amorphous spheres[2].
