As the energy-saving CO2 capture process,process based on high pressure CO2 regeneration by crystallization is being developed,and potassium carbonate solution has been in spotlight for the absorbent.The absorption kinetic data in real operating condition is important factor for practical column design in industry [1-2].However,there were only a few reports on CO2 absorption kinetics in partially carbonated potassium carbonate solution.Therefore,in this research,the study on CO2 absorption kinetics in partially carbonated potassium carbonate solution was investigated in wetted wall column.The potassium carbonate concentration in solution was equivalent with 40 wt% potassium carbonate.The CO2 loading in solution was adjusted with potassium bicarbonate.The experimental temperature was in the range from 60 to 80℃.The inlet CO2 gas concentration was from 4% to 16%.The CO2 absorption rate in solution of CO2 loading 0.6 was 4 to 6 times lower than that in the solution of CO2 loading 0.5.
