  A series of molecular imprinted monolithic columns were synthesized using enrofloxacin as template, methylacrylic acid and 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate as functional monomer and trimethylolpropanetrimethylacrylate and ethylene glycol dimethacrylate as the crosslinking monomer, toluene, dodecanol and PEG as porogenic solvent in traditional stainless-steel chromatographic columns.SEM images (Fig.1) and BET analysis show high porosity and large specific surface area in monolithic column by added PEG and the breakthrough curve exhibited that the monolithic column possesses a good imprinting effect, good permeability and high adsorption capacity.
