Objective This study aims to investigate the anti-glucolysis activities of citrate and its underlying mechanism in acute leukemia (AL).Methods The cytotoxities of citrate against cancer cells were determined by CCK-8 assays.PFK activity and its isoforms expression were assessed using ELISA and RT-PCR,respectively.Cell apoptosis and the effect of citrate on the Hypoxia-inducible factor-1α (HIF-1α) signaling pathway were assessed by western immunoblotting.
