This paper introduces a theoretical approach for the calculations of spectral line broadening in plasmas.As an example,the line profiles of Shark broadeningthe Lymanpectral lines (Lyαand Lyβ) and Paschen line (Pα) are calculated and investigated with thisapproach under some interesting plasma conditions.In our calculations,Dirac R-matrix methods [1]are usedto calculate electron-impact broadening operators[2-6],which are assumed to be diagonal matrix to simplify.
