现有文献基于传统集聚经济理论探讨了集聚对企业创新的影响,但对其作用机制阐释仍存在不足。本文以中国电子及通讯设备制造业为例,利用2003-2007 年规模以上企业数据进行实证检验进行深入探讨,尤其强调产业专业化和技术关联多样化对企业创新的影响。基于Tobit 模型的统计模型研究发现,MAR 集聚效应中,产业内和产业间的专业化对企业创新行为有显著推动作用,但Jacobs 集聚中只有技术相关性产业多样化对企业创新行为有显著正向作用,且其作用强于MAR 集聚。无技术关联的多样化没有显著的集聚效应。本文进一步进行研究表明,MAR 集聚主要促进企业创新的专业化,而Jacobs 集聚是促进企业创新的多样化。由于现有研究表明多样化创新能更好的促进企业创新,因此Jacobs 集聚对企业创新行为的促进作用更强。
