In recent years, biomass resources have attracted more attention due to their renewability and cleanliness.Anaerobic fermentation technology is an effective way to utilize effectively the biomass resource, and the addition of the catalyst is an effective means for improving the anaerobic fermentation.Transition metal oxides (TMOs)exhibited remarkable catalytic performance in dye-sensitized solar cells, it is possible to apply it to other catalytic fields such as fuel cell, biosensor, hydrogen generation, pollution and so on.In this regard, we investigate the effect of TMOs mutifunctional catalysts on the biogas production in the anaerobic fermentation.It is expected to open a new way for utilizing the TMOs catalysts in various catalytic fields such as the anaerobic fermentation and solar cells.
