Synopsis: We have measured the electron double differential cross section (DDCS) for ionization of Ne atoms in collision with bare and dressed O-ions of energy 3.75 MeV/u.We explore the influence of projectile electrons as well as the multi-electronic nature of the target atoms on electron emission spectrum. The DDCS-ratios, for different q-values, are found to deviate from the expected q2-type behaviour. The deviations are found to be dependent on the ejected electron energy and angle which is qualitatively reproduced by the CDW-EIS calculations.
