1927年12月21日下午2时许,阳光明媚,在国立暨南大学大礼堂讲台一边的一张小方桌旁,坐着一位眉清目秀20多岁的青年。他一边聆听着主席台上鲁迅先生的演讲,一边挥动着手中的笔在纸上奋力作着记录。这位记录者就是当年暨南大学的年轻教授曹聚仁。那年鲁迅从广州来上海不久,接受暨南大学的邀请,为广大师生作题为《文艺与政治的歧途》的演讲。鲁迅说:“我没有整篇的鸿论,也没有高明的见解,只能讲讲我近来所想到的。我每每觉到文艺和政治时时在冲突之中;文艺和革命原不是相反的,两者之间,倒有不安于现状
At 21 o’clock on the December 21, 1927, at 21 o’clock in the sunshine, a young man in his twenties sat by a small square beside the podium of the National Jinan University Auditorium. While listening to the speech of Mr. Lu Xun on the podium, he struggled to record on the paper while waving his hand. The reporter was then Cao Ju-jen, a young professor at Jinan University. That year, Lu Xun came to Shanghai from Guangzhou shortly and accepted an invitation from Jinan University to make a speech entitled ”Art and Politics Astray“ for the majority of teachers and students. Lu Xun said: ”I do not have a full account of Hong, there is no clever insight, I can only talk about what I have come to think of.I often feel that art and politics are always in conflict; art and revolution are not the original, Between the two, there is upset about the status quo
