　　In the present work, we investigated the inhibition effects of amoxicillin, a bacteriolytic, β-lactam antibiotic drug, on the rate of monophenol hydroxylation and o-diphenol oxidation catalyzed by mushroom tyrosinase.The results showed that amoxicillin exhibits both monophenolase and diphenolase inhibition activities.
