Objective To investigate the value of image fusion technology in judging the positions of abnormal blood flow signals detected by color doppler in sacroiliac joint areas of ankylosing spondylitis patients.Methods twenty patients with ankylosing spondylitis were divided into three groups according to the course of disease: group1 :1-5years; group 2: 6-10years; group3: ＞ 10 years＃ US-CT image fusion of sacroiliac joints were performed in all three groups ＃totally 20 patients with 40 sacroiliac joints＃ and successful cases were collected, then judgingthe positions of abnormal blood flow signals occurred in sacroiliac joint areas.
