Biomass size structures of plankton were investigated at 6 typical stations of Daya Bay in August of 2010 and January of 2011.Biomass size spectrum (BSS) equations of plankton were established by estimated individual bio-volume.Fishery productions were estimated based on BSS and primary production.Our results showed that zooplankton size range was narrow in summer with low jellyfish biomass ratio,high plankton biomass,high transfer efficiency,and high fishery production.There were high nutrient level,high small species ratio,high biomass abundance,high primary production,and low transfer efficiency in the aquaculture influenced area and harbor activities influenced area.In the station near the nuclear power plants,the biomass size structure and BSS were significantly different from other stations.
