Ozone is a powerful oxidant compound and provides many chemical reactions with various molecules in aqueous phase.By this aspect,the water treatment process by ozonation becomes a promising and important technique mainly due to the ozone attack to a wide range of recalcitrant compounds and to be considered a "clean" technology.
