High pressure plays a key role in the development of new advanced compounds.The dielectric material CaCu3Ti4O12 were synthesized by solid-state reaction method.In situ high pressure Raman spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction measurements on CaCu3Ti4O12 powder under pressures up to 20 GPa have been performed by using diamond anvil cell.The structure changes in Cacu3Ti4O12 under high pressure at room temperature have been studied in detail.The results show that a phase transition occurred during the increasing pressure.And the equation of state of CaCu3Ti4O12 was obtained from the V/V0-P relationship.
