A new automatic high velocity arc spraying system (auto-HVASS) has been developed.In system,the spraying gun is held to move by the auto-operating machine motion arm under the numerical control.The feedback controlling and adjusting spraying process parameters in real-time can make the gun finish the self-acted spraying process with the setting program.This auto-HVASS is composed of five units.The first is central control unit,which consists of five driving electric engines of operating machine,control software and main control part.The second unit is coordinate style operating machine,which can carry X,Y,Z,C (rotation) four direction motions.The spraying gun can finish motion of straight,curve and rotary movement trace.The third unit is one positioner,which carry the rotation of R.The forth unit is one touching screen of control,which displays the process parameters which includes moving speed,nodding speed,action angle,current,voltage and so on.The last unit is high velocity arc spraying system,which consists of inverse arc spraying power supply,wire feeding device and high velocity arc spraying gun.
