Developing advanced electrode materials can significantly improve the performance of lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) to meet societys ever-growing electrical energy storage need.Anatase TiO2 are one of the most promising anode candidates because of its long cycle life, low cost and environmentally benign.Unfortunately, the low chemical diffusivity of Li in TiO2, which mostly depends on two major transport processes: the electronic conductivity of TiO2 and the diffusivity of Li+ in TiO2, constitutes a major obstacle for its practical application in lithium storage.
