Aim There is a need for us to get some effective and noninvasive methods to detect liver steatosis, which is a factor of liver fibrosis.Ultrasonic controlled attenuation parameter (CAP) is devised to target liver steatosis, which is based on vibration control transient elastography (VCFE).In this work, liver steatosis is evaluated by using the novel CAP.
