At this moment in the 21st Century, we are all keenly aware of the break-neck pace of technology in our industry.Virtual imaging accelerates the design process;engineering software facilitates 3-D modelmaking;3-D printing creates models in a fraction of the time needed by a craftsman.Even the vocabulary we use to describe manufacturing has changed—"…terms such as 'CAD modeling', 'sintering' and 'CNC milling' sit comfortably alongside 'carving','casting', and 'lathing' as the vernacular of the modem toolkit."
