Not a single treatment could treat all acute heart failure patients with different conditions.We needed many different treatments for a complete heart failure treatment program.The treatments for low cardiac output are following:drug (digoxin,diuretics,ACEI,ARB,aldosterone antagonist; carvedilol,metoprolol,bisoprolol; milrinone; dopamine,dobutamine,epinephrine,norepinephrine,isoproterenol; PGE1; NO inhalation),mechanical circulatory support (IABP; ECMO; VAD,such as Thoratec,HeartMate,biopump,roller pump,etc) and surgery (Batista operation,surgical ventricular restoration; orthotopic or heterotopic heart transplantation; Heart-lung transplantation
