Herein we demonstrate a microfluidic platform that integrates a winding microdroplet chip and surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) detection system for trace analysis of crystal violet (CV).Silver colloid was applied to obtain SERS effect.Memory effect can be effectively eliminated in microdroplet system compared to continuous flow microfluidic system.Several parameters, such as flow pattern, droplet size, surfactant effect, detection position etc.were optimized in order to obtain successful droplet and reliable signal.Under the optimal conditions,a good linear correlation in the range of 1.0×10-8 - 8.0×10-7 M with a correlation coefficient (R2) of 0.9967 was obtained. The limit of detection (LOD) of CV in water was estimated to be 3.6 nM.
