本文介绍了一个模拟生成近海海啸波的水池。本水池内可以用造波机生成孤立波，也可用一个特定的泵阀系统生成涌浪，从而用传统的方法模拟海啸波。海啸波在近岸传播时，可能会分裂为一系列波峰更小的孤波，这种波形被称为非破碎涌波。受到实验条件的限制，现有的实验室难以生成理想的非破碎涌波。
