Objective To explore the benefits and influencing factors of preoperative cochlear implantation (CI) in pre-speech-deaf adolescents and provide information for preoperative selection, counseling and postoperative evaluation. Methods Thirty CHD patients and their families with prelingual deafness were surveyed by the CI Satisfaction Questionnaire. Among them, 19 patients participated in verbal tests. Results The overall satisfaction of CI before and after hearing aid was 3.93 ± 0.88 and 3.00 ± 1.13 respectively, there was a significant difference between the two groups (P <0.05), which would affect the speech development of postoperative patients. Before the spoken language lip-reading group and the sign language group communication between the two groups after 7 words test results were 74,60,64,61,57,43,27 and 43,39,26,26,19,6, The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P <0.01), before the ability to improve significantly. CI preoperative expectations and postoperative satisfaction was negatively correlated (γ = -0.479, P <0.05). Conclusion Adolescents with prelingual deafness who received CI implantation can benefit greatly from this procedure, but the unique evaluation system should be established according to the needs of patients.
