The electromagnetic spectrum is a very precious resource in wireless communication, its allocation has been under strict control. In the process of the transformation of radio order management mode, the electromagnetic spectrum information appears new features: dynamic,wide-area and real-time.It has become a key problem in the management and utilization of electromagnetic spectrum to obtain the information of electromagnetic spectrum accurately in such a complex and changeable environment. With the application of random matrix theory in wireless communication areas, random matrix theory has been applied to wideband spectrum sensing. In order to meet the requirement of real-time spectrum sensing,finite-dimensional random matrix theory should be used to study wideband spectrum sensing problem.
