Filamentous fungi including many Aspergillus species often are pathogens to crop plants.They penetrate plant tissues through hyphal expansion and disseminate via conidia produced by asexual sporulation.Using A.nidulans as a model system, we aimed to reveal the contribution of the dynamic cytoplasmic microtubule network to hyphal growth and sepation.
