  The rock mass in nature forms a discontinuous body with special structure because of being cut by structural surfaces, which causes the anisotropic in its mechanics characteristics.Moreover, the bulk excavation work implemented in hydropower project constructions in the west of China leads to stronger unloading effect of rock mass. Therefore, the engineering technical problems caused by above reasons restrict the development of engineering constructions, which need to be solved urgently.
