Iran belongs to the countries with water limitation to agriculture practices especially vegetable crop production, so application of methods such as grafting can increase drought stress and water use efficiency in vegetables.An open field experiment was conducted to evaluate growth and yield response of grafted and non-grafted muskmelon onto rootstocks cvs."Ace" and "Shintozwa" to drought stress in 2010.Irrigation treatments were 60, 80,100 and 120 percentage of water requirements of muskmelon.
