WC-CoCr coating which is prepared by swaying technology has been widely used to improve the corrosion-resistance performance of parts.In this paper,the WC-CoCr coating is prepared by laser-hybrid plasma spraying (LHPS)technology,the experimental results of NSS(Neutral Salt Spraying) showed that the LHPS WC-CoCr coating demonstrated better corrosion resistance comparing with the base material and the plasma spraying coating which used the same powders.A scanning electron microscope(SEM) was used to analyse corrosion phenomena of samples,The LHPS coating overcomes many shortcomings of the conventional spraying coatings such as poor bonding strength,high porosity,many cracks and so on.LHPS is able to improve the bonding strength as the interfaces are melted and joined by the laser simultaneously with plasma spraying.The coatings microstructure testing shows that it achieves metallurgy bonding not only in the interface but also in the inner coating,the coatings microstructure becomes more compact and its performance was greatly improved for this.
