Objective: To study the influential factors of local recurrence for esophageal carcinoma after three-field lymph node dissection(3-LND) and to provide evidence for postoperative therapy.Methods: In our hospital, we reviewed 1,004 cases with thoracic esophageal carcinoma (TEC) from 2005 to 2009 after 3-FLD.Logistic regression analysis was used to identify relative factors for cervical, mediastinal, and abdominal lymph node recurrence,and then the predictive model for recurrence was subsequently established.
