[Objective] To determine the level of serum ferritin in children with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and to evaluate the relationship between symptoms and serum ferritin in children with ADHD and with conners’ parental scale. Relationship between. [Methods] 54 cases of children with ADHD (case group) and 21 healthy children who went to the hospital for physical examination were enrolled in the DSM-Ⅳ standard combined with conners scale, audio-visual and continuous exercise test, and control group ), Fasting blood samples were taken to do serum ferritin examination. The relationship between the two ferritin results and the parameters of continuous hearing test and continuous exercise test were compared. [Results] ① The levels of serum ferritin in children with ADHD were lower than those in normal control group (P <0.05). (2) The score of each factor in ADHD children’s score in parental symptom questionnaire was significantly different from that of normal children except for physical and mental disorders; and ADHD children in ADHD continuous operation test scores and normal children’s score difference There was statistical significance (P <0.05). (3) Correlation analysis was made between the scores of serum ferritin and parental symptom questionnaire and audio-visual integrated continuous operation test, and the results showed that the combination of serum ferritin and audio-visual integration in the comprehensive test of reaction control quotient, auditory reaction control quotient, visual The reaction control quotient was negatively correlated (P <0.05). [Conclusion] The serum ferritin level in children with ADHD is lower than that in normal children. Iron deficiency easily causes attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in children, causing the children to have less control and attention.
