Currently,a newly recreational physical activity,square dance (in Chinese Guangchang Wu) is unprecedentedly booming in China.The purpose of this study is to explore the reason of its booming and then analyze its impact from positive andnegative sides.Such research methods as literature,observation and interview are adopted in this research.
