Our recent activities related to detectors working on the terahertz frequency bands will be presented.This paper includes the terahertz-quantum well photodetector[1], the germanium blocked impurity band detector[2], the terahertz video-rate imager consisting of the uncooled microbolometer array and terahertz quantum cascade laser (THz-QCL) as an illuminator[3],and as well as the terahertz heterodyne receiver consisting of hot electron bolometer (HEB)/mixer and THz-QCL [4].
