Through analysis on heavy metal elements(Hg)of inhalable particulate matters and dust which sampled from the four functional areas of Jiaozuo City with Atomic Fluorescence Spectroscopy(AFS),it was showed that the average concentration of Hg in inhalable particulate matters were 4.44+4.2 ng/m3.And it was higher than the global background values. The concent of Hg in the dust was from0.45?g/g to 1.51?g/g,with the average values of 0.86+0.49?g/g,respectively.which was 13.23 times than soil natural background value of mercury(0.065?g/g)in China.
