  For the great contributions in the research of molecular machines,Jean-Pierre Sauvage,Sir J.Fraser Stoddart and Bernard L.Feringa awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry 2016 jointly.1 Interlocked 3-D cages,as potential molecular machines,have attracted a great deal of attentions for their aesthetic charm and potential applications in supramolecular materials.2 Herein an edge-interlocked heteroleptic metallocages based on Cu3(pyrazolate)33 was prepared through a ligand replacement reaction from a homoleptic metallocage and a new ligand(Figure 1).4 Its mechanically interlocked structure was confirmed by XRD and MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry(Figure 2).
