1.Introduction The early Cretaceous is a period of cata-strophic evolution of the eastern Eurasia,and also of the earth.Several events took place during this stage (e.g.abnormal generation of oceanic crusts and LIP magmatism,anoxic event and formation of black shales,extinction of species etc.).At the mean time,the eastern Eurasian continent broke up,with the formation of extensional structures and occurrence of giant magmatism (plutonism and volcanism).The crust in eastern Eurasia was thinned and the North China craton was destructed.
