Objective:To summarize the application of deep hypothermic circulatory arrest (DHCA) and continuous retrograde cerebral perfusion with superior vena. Methods:Continuous retrograde cerebral perfusion (CRCP) can be implemented using the bypass connecting the arterial and venous lines of the extracorporeal circuit to reverse the flow into the superior vena cava cannula after induction of circulatory arrest.CRCP flow required to maintain an internal jugular vein pressure of 18~26 mmHg ranged from 200 to 250 ml/min.Results:DHCA time in the 7 patients was 18~95minutes,the patients analepsia time ranged from 185 to 275 minutes. We acquired satisfactory outcome.
