胡适是中国新诗运动的总设计师和开拓者。其著名译诗《关不住了》诠释了中国早期新诗现代性的发生与诗歌翻译密切相关。中国早期新诗最初的现代性实质上是翻译引进的现代性。它集中体现在译诗的语言表达、诗体形式和思想内容上。没有译诗,中国新诗的现代性就会因为失去影响源而难以发生。 Hu Shi is the chief architect and pioneer of the Chinese New Poetry Movement. Its famous translated poem “can not be shut off” shows that the occurrence of the modernity of early Chinese poetry is closely related to the translation of poetry. The initial modernity of early Chinese poetry is essentially the modernity of translation. It is embodied in the language of the translated poetry, poetry and ideological content. Without the translation of poetry, the modernity of Chinese new poetry will be hard to come by because of its loss of source of influence.
