The stable isotope was mainly used in the study of nuclear science and technology in the early days.With the development of modern science and technology,its application areas are expanding constantly and it has become a link between related subjects and technical applications.Because the performance of isotope separation technology determines the production and application of isotope directly,so the basic principles,advantages,disadvantages,application areas,development status and future prospects of isotope separation method are summarized in the paper while things like separation parameters of different methods are also illustrated in the following form.This will build the foundation for us to choose isotope separation method properly.
