Aromatic polyimides (PIs) are well recognized as high performance engineering plastics.[l] Howevcr,because of the rigid backbones and strong inter-chain interactions, the main drawbacks of polyimides are poor solubility and high melt viscosity, which makes the fabrication of polyimide materials very difficult.[2,3] The other disadvantage of aromatic polyimide films for optoelectronic application is their yellowish nature.It is well known that the commercial aromatic polyimide films.
