Cycloparaphenylenes(CPP)1 have attracted great attention as fascinating molecules with uniform size and structure as well as templates for bottom-up synthesis of carbon nanotubes(CNT)with various functions.2 However,the reported synthetic routes starting from halobenzenes using macrobatch reactors require time-and labor-consuming multi-step transformations.Therefore,it is desirable to develop an efficient synthetic route toward the CPP from the viewpoints of atom and step economy.
